Fidofest Fun with Our Buddy Calvin!

Okay, so picture this: a sunny Saturday, tons of happy people, and even more adorable dogs. That was Fidofest in Warwood today, and let me tell you, it was a blast! We packed up our sweet foster pup, Calvin, and headed over, hoping he’d charm some lucky folks into giving him his forever home.
Calvin, being the total sweetheart he is, was in his element. He lapped up all the attention, getting ear scratches and belly rubs from pretty much everyone who walked by. His tail was wagging so hard I thought it might actually detach! It was awesome seeing him so happy and relaxed around so many new faces. You could just tell he was soaking it all in.
While Calvin was working his magic (fingers crossed!), I decided to explore the other important part of any good festival: the food! Man, those food trucks did not disappoint. I grabbed some seriously tasty BBQ and then couldn’t resist a loaded mac and cheese. Hey, a guy’s gotta fuel up for all that dog-watching, right?
There were tons of vendors with all sorts of cool stuff for dogs and their humans. Leashes, treats, toys – you name it. Plus, they had demonstrations and activities going on throughout the day. It was just a really fun, laid-back atmosphere.
Honestly, even if Calvin doesn’t find his forever family right this second (though we’re really hoping!), it was still a fantastic day out. Seeing all those happy dogs and the community coming together was pretty cool. And let’s be real, spending a day surrounded by adorable pups is never a bad thing.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that Calvin made a special connection with someone today. He’s such a good boy and deserves the best home. If you happen to be in the market for a loving and playful companion, you should definitely consider a foster dog like Calvin! You might just find your new best friend.
Anyway, just wanted to share our Fidofest adventure. It was a great reminder of how awesome dogs are and the good people who love them. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I think there’s a certain furry friend who deserves some extra cuddles after his big day!

He is so adorable. Do we have an idea how big he will get, my daughter has been on the search to add a small dog to her home and she would fall in love with that precious face.

He is currently 16 weeks old. He will not get much bigger than he is now.
