ERIC_FOLTIN

SYSOP

HANDLE: Eric Foltin
CLASS: SYSOP / TERMINAL DWELLER / CACHE HUNTER
STATUS: ONLINE
UPTIME: Unknown. Reboot not scheduled.

Raised on dial-up, DOS prompts, and the sound of a 56k modem negotiating world peace one screech at a time. Still thinks a blinking cursor is more inviting than most modern apps. Linux, Unix, RSS feeds, self-hosted projects, and old-school web design beat another algorithm-driven social media dumpster fire any day.

When not maintaining digital oddities, you’ll usually find him wandering the woods chasing Tupperware containers with a GPS because apparently that’s a perfectly normal hobby now. Over 6,000 geocache finds later, the addiction is well documented.

Occupation: Meals on Wheels driver. Side quest: keeping old technology alive long after the marketing department declared it “obsolete.” Coffee functions as system coolant. Punk rock provides the operating system. Dogs are mandatory peripherals.

Believes websites should load instantly, text should be readable, and software shouldn’t require a cloud subscription just to make a damn note. Owns more domain names than common sense and is perfectly okay with that.

Still writes HTML by hand. Still reads RSS. Still prefers forums over influencers. Still thinks the Internet peaked sometime between GeoCities, Winamp, and IRC.

CURRENT PROCESS LIST

No telemetry. No tracking. No AI-generated corporate optimism.
Just a sysop keeping the lights on.
