So, I’ve been tinkering with something new lately, and I’m pretty stoked about it. It kind of takes me back a bit, actually. Remember those old-school RSS feed groups? I used to be part of one, and it was seriously the best. It was just a straightforward list of websites that played nice with RSS readers. No fluff, no algorithms deciding what I should see – just pure, unadulterated content that I chose.
Man, I miss those days. Trying to find a decent list of good RSS feeds now feels like searching for a needle in a digital haystack. Everything’s all about social media and curated feeds, which is cool and all, but sometimes you just want to go straight to the source, you know?
Anyway, the RSS feed group I used to be in? Well, it hasn’t seen an update in ages. It’s pretty much a ghost town. And that got me thinking… why not just bring it back myself? So, that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m starting my own list of sites that are perfect for your RSS reader. My goal is to recreate that same awesome feeling of being able to pick and choose exactly what you want to follow.
It’s a work in progress, and I’m constantly on the lookout for new and interesting feeds to add. If you’re like me and you appreciate the simplicity and control of RSS, then I think you might dig what I’m putting together.
If this sounds like your kind of thing, I’d love for you to check it out! You can find the list here at RSS Initiative. Let me know what you think, and if you have any suggestions for great RSS feeds, definitely send them my way. Let’s bring back the joy of a truly personalized feed reader together!
