Site Work. Lots of It.

Got a lot done on the site tonight.

I tore into the design and started redesigning pretty much everything that annoyed me. The goal is simple: less crap, less decoration, less trying to impress people who probably weren’t going to care anyway.

The site is getting more minimal. More brutalist. More stripped down. Big text. Hard edges. Simple colors. Less bullshit.

A website doesn’t need seventeen animations, a giant stock photo of some person staring thoughtfully at a laptop, or a paragraph explaining how innovative the website is. It just needs to work.

So I’m rebuilding it my way.

Still plenty left to do, because apparently websites are never actually finished. You fix one thing and somehow create three more things that need fixing. This is apparently how the internet works.

More changes coming.
