What topics do you like to discuss?
So, you asked what I like to chat about? Buckle up, because my brain’s a bit of a grab bag of awesome.
First off, you hit on one of my absolute favorites: geocaching. Seriously, it’s like a real-world treasure hunt for grown-ups (and kids, of course!). There’s something so satisfying about following those GPS coordinates, the anticipation building as you get closer, and then BAM! Finding that little container hidden in plain sight. I could talk for hours about my favorite finds, the crazy places they’ve taken me, and the sheer ingenuity of some hiders. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to explore new areas, even in your own backyard. Ever stumble upon a cool historical marker or a hidden gem of a park thanks to a geocache? That’s the good stuff right there.
Then there’s my deep-seated love for sci-fi movies. Spaceships, aliens, time travel, dystopian futures – bring it on! I’m the guy who’s analyzing the warp drive mechanics in Star Trek or debating the philosophical implications of artificial intelligence in Blade Runner. I love dissecting the plot holes (in a fun way, of course!), geeking out over the special effects, and pondering the big questions these movies often raise about humanity and our place in the universe. Got a favorite sci-fi flick? Trust me, I’ve probably got an opinion on it, and I’m always up for hearing yours.
Of course, since I’m here writing this, it’s probably no surprise that I’m into blogging. I dig the process of putting thoughts into words, sharing ideas, and connecting with people who are interested in the same things. It’s like having a little corner of the internet where I can be myself and explore whatever rabbit hole has captured my attention that week. From the technical side of setting up a site to the creative aspect of crafting a compelling post, there’s always something new to learn and tinker with.
And last but definitely not least, there’s camping. Getting out into nature, breathing in the fresh air, and sleeping under the stars? That’s my kind of therapy. Whether it’s a rugged backpacking trip in the mountains or a more relaxed car camping adventure with all the creature comforts (okay, maybe some creature comforts), I love the feeling of disconnecting from the everyday hustle and reconnecting with the natural world. Campfire stories, s’mores, the quiet of the woods – it’s all good in my book.
So yeah, those are a few of the things that get me talking. Geocaching adventures, the wonders of sci-fi, the joys of blogging, and the peace of the great outdoors. What about you? What kind of stuff are you into? I’m all ears!

Sci-Fi anything, writing – YES!!! No to geo-caching and camping – I like my comforts…😉
I am into writing (ofc) and cooking. There’s something so satisfying about being alone in the kitchen, feeling like a master chef, trusting our instincts and crafting my favourite food. Bit by bit.
