Life

At a young age, I entered into marriage and subsequently became a parent to two daughters, Paige and Whitney, both of whom are now adults. Concurrent with raising my children, I cultivated a long-standing interest in geocaching, a pursuit I have actively engaged in for two decades. During this time I went to Belmont College and got a degree in computer graphics and multimedia programming. After seventeen years of marriage, irreconcilable differences led to a divorce. Following a period of singlehood, I met Jennifer Yuhase, whom I married after several years of courtship. Our family includes two dogs: Larkin, a Belgian Malinois, and Jersey, a St. Bernard. Jersey is a certified therapy dog with the Belmont County Sheriff’s Department, providing comfort and support to children and victims during courtroom testimony. My brother, John, and I are currently estranged due to political disagreements, resulting in a complete cessation of communication. I presently reside in Bridgeport, Ohio.

Work

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning. While in high school, I gained experience in various roles, including fast food service, landscaping, and other odd jobs. During my college years, I worked for the State of Ohio at Barkcamp State Park.Subsequently, I transitioned to a manufacturing environment, securing a position at a window factory named Quanex in Cambridge, Ohio, where I was eventually promoted to quality assurance. Concurrently, I pursued further education in computer graphics and multimedia programming, leading to a 12-year career as a graphic artist. Following the closure of that business, I retrained as a meat cutter, a profession I pursued for many years. Currently, I deliver meals on wheels for Belmont County, Ohio, and supplement my income with part-time evening work at Domino’s Pizza.
