If I could meet one celebrity, it would be John Carpenter. The man is an incredible writer and director who created some of the most memorable movies ever made. I’d love to sit down with him and talk about filmmaking, storytelling, and where the hell some of his ideas came from. They Live is one of my favorites. A movie about aliens, consumerism, and people blindly accepting what they’re told. Decades later, that premise still hits a little too close to home.

I’d want to know what inspired him, what he thinks about the world today, and whether he ever expected his movies to remain relevant for so long. No celebrity worship, no stupid interview questions, and no asking him what his favorite color is. Just an honest conversation with a guy who understood how to make people think while entertaining the hell out of them. John Carpenter helped shape the kind of movies I love, and getting to pick his brain for an hour would be a hell of a lot more interesting than meeting most celebrities.
