Famous Doesn’t Mean Right

What public figure do you disagree with the most?

Celebrities need to shut up!

You ever notice how some celebrities just can’t help but push their personal beliefs into every single thing they do? Whether it’s politics, gender stuff, or whatever cause they’re on that week, it feels like they’re not satisfied unless the rest of us are repeating their opinions word for word. And honestly? I’m over it.

Don’t get me wrong — I believe in freedom. You want to live your life how you want? Go for it. Be whoever you feel like being. If you’re a transgender Republican who identifies as a tree stump and wants to start a YouTube channel about it — knock yourself out. That’s your business. I respect your right to do you.

What I don’t respect is being told that if I don’t repost, re-like, or re-tweet whatever cause-of-the-day a celebrity is screaming about, I’m some kind of monster. Sorry, but no. I’m not letting some actor or pop star tell me how to think, how to speak, or what to believe. I’ve got a brain of my own, thanks.

It’s one thing to have an opinion. It’s another to weaponize it and act like anyone who disagrees with you is the enemy. That’s not activism — that’s just arrogance.

At the end of the day, I want a world where people can coexist, not conform. Be who you are. Believe what you believe. But let me do the same — without the lectures.
