What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?
You know, sometimes it’s the smallest changes that can lead to the biggest improvements in your life. For me? That change would be quitting my second job at Domino’s Pizza. Yeah, I said it.
Look, I picked up that second job to make a little extra cash, maybe stay busy—but man, it’s draining the life out of me. It’s like I clock in and immediately step into a full-blown circus. And not the fun kind. I’m talking about the kind where you’re the only one trying to juggle while everyone else is throwing pies at each other… literally and figuratively.
Every shift feels like babysitting a bunch of grown adults who can’t figure out how to do the simplest tasks. I’m not trying to be rude, but come on—how hard is it to not burn a pizza or actually answer the phone when it rings? I come home every night more frustrated than the night before, stewing in the kind of anger that lingers way too long.
And for what? A few extra bucks and a whole lot of stress? Nah. Life’s too short for that.
I’m ready to breathe a little easier. Sleep a little better. Smile more. Spend time with people I actually enjoy. Maybe even pick up a hobby again. Whatever it is, it’s gotta be better than babysitting a bunch of pizza zombies every night.
Sometimes, the best upgrade in life is knowing when to walk away. And I’m walking out of that Domino’s with my head high and my sanity intact. Peace out, pizza prison.
