SYSOP

I’m Eric Foltin.

I’m Gen X. I grew up with cassette tapes, CRT televisions, dial-up internet, and computers that looked like they belonged in a government bunker. I still like that stuff. Give me old technology, brutalist design, terminal screens, weird websites, and anything that looks like it came straight out of 1984.

I’m into punk rock, especially the 80s and 90s stuff. Pennywise, The Lillingtons, The Misfits, Henry Rollins, and anything loud, fast, and slightly pissed off

I’m a self-taught coder who learned by breaking things, fixing them, breaking them again, and eventually figuring out why they broke in the first place. I’ve been messing with computers and websites for years, mostly because apparently I can’t leave anything alone

I work for Senior Services as a Meals on Wheels driver. Outside of work, I spend my time with family, watching old and strange movies, listening to music, messing with websites, and doing whatever happens to interest me.

I’m also an ordained minister with the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, because apparently reality wasn’t already weird enough.

This site is my own little piece of the internet. No influencer bullshit. No motivational speeches. No pretending to have everything figured out.

Just me, my opinions, music, movies, technology, coding, memories, and whatever else I decide is worth putting online.

Basically, this is me.

Take it or leave it. The internet has enough people trying to sell you something.
